Empezamos con una de las más llamativas: el mármol. No detallo las distintas configuraciones porque en estos casos lo que importa son los filtros y lo que con ellos podemos conseguir. Mi interés es tener una referencia visual que podamos localizar con facilidad y que sea un recuerdo permanente del uso de las herramientas.

En este caso no he utilizado el filtro las 10 veces, sino 5 o seis. En el momento de ajustar los niveles (Ctr+L) he conseguido el tamaño adecuado de las vetas, probando un poco con los controles. El siguiente ejemplo es también una superficie similar al mármol, de otra coloración.

En estos primeros tutoriales, coloqué los pasos algo atropellados, casi como las vetas de la roca. Quiero aprovechar para aconsejarles guardar los ficheros editables de vuestros trabajos: el tiempo es oro. Por ejemplo, no consigo encontrar el editable de esta imagen y me pesa. Tiene un pequeño error de texo y el Filtro_nubes de diferencia debe entenderse como Filtro_Interpretar_nubes de diferencia. El secreto de las vetas vuelve a estar en los ajustes de imagen_niveles. Además de las tres capas que aconsejaban en este tutorial, creo que añadí alguna más con los colores verde y rojo que pueden apreciarse.

Y ahora que ya tenemos algo de material, vamos a comenzar a moldearlo un poco, tallando aquí y allá, a ver qué conseguimos…

Para el fondo, he hecho un motivo con el material ( Edición_definir motivo ), he rellenado la capa con ese motivo y he copiado un trozo en otra capa (hacer selección y Ctr+J). Apliqué un relieve de cincel duro y luego seleccioné la forma y la recorté (Supr). Y para terminar, una combinación de efectos «elaborados» con los que ya vienen preestablecidos en el filtro_texturas.

He utilizado las mismas técnicas del libro para conseguir la loza y luego la he perforado como la anterior. Sólo añadir que el fondo al que le he aplicado el filtro_retazos, tenía un color gris medio-oscuro.
